How will you make an impact in this role?
The Spend Enablement team is responsible for driving organic spend and share of wallet with our Canadian Cardmembers & Clients. This includes management and marketing of payment form factors (from chip & PIN to mobile wallets), delivering proven treatments that drive spend, and testing new campaign strategies & tactics to deliver growth.
- Develop and execute on marketing strategies to deliver on key business objectives. This includes driving organic spend & share of wallet through areas that may include contactless adoption, online spend, recur bill behaviours, and spend diversification.
- Ensure a seamless customer experience across payment and other point-of-sale solutions, such as chip & PIN, contactless payments, mobile wallets, and other online & in app payment capabilities.
- Analyze key metrics and their underlying trends, plus channel & asset performance, to make and implement strategic recommendations to optimize customer journeys & drive billings.
- Manage end-to-end campaign execution for proven spend enablement tactics across multiple channels including email, paid social, direct mail and placements across our website, while testing new ideas.
- Actively partner with Product Owners, New Product Development, Global Network and Merchant Services and Central Teams to launch new capabilities/journeys and marketing campaigns designed to drive engagement and enable spend.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong focus on innovation and initiative to own a project from conception through implementation and evaluation.
- Proven ability to challenge the status quo to improve existing processes, campaigns, and assets.
- Demonstrated multi-tasking, project management, attention to detail and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent relationship-building, collaboration, influencing, and communication skills across a diverse group of partners.
- Highly proficient in MS Office suite (Powerpoint, Excel, Word).
- 1+ years work experience in a Marketing or Product Management function.
- University degree in Business or Marketing or equivalent work experience.
