Position Overview
We are actively seeking a dynamic and seasoned Business Analyst to join our team at Triton. In this role, you work closely with stakeholders and act as the main intermediary between the business and technical teams – understanding, collecting, and translating business and technical requirements into clear and concise documentation. This can include user stories, use cases, and functional/non-functional specifications. You possess great communication skills as you will lead and facilitate meetings, such as business requirements workshops, to ensure that requirements are complete and well-understood. You also assist in the development of technical specifications and workflows and participate in sessions to validate that the solutions developed meet the intended needs of the business.

Responsibilities:
· Partner with stakeholders to collect, create, and analyze business/technical requirements in a collaborative way
· Ability to translate requirements into clear and concise use cases/user stories
· Independently propose comprehensive solutions to resolve complex, multifaceted problems to meet business needs
· Prioritize initiatives based on the business needs, requirements, and phase of the project
· Elicit, structure, document and validate business requirements provided by internal and external stakeholders
· Evaluate business rules and processes, and anticipate requirements to uncover areas for improvement
· Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations
· Provide support and knowledge transfer to IT teams (e.g. preparing training materials, knowledge base articles, transition to operations documentation)
· Gathering critical information from meetings with various internal and external stakeholders and producing useful reports
Skills and Qualifications:
· University or College Degree
· 3+ years of experience in a BA or similar role
· 3+ years of demonstrated hands on experience in IT projects
· Ability to assume end to end ownership of projects and responsibilities
· Attention to detail and ability to work well as a team player and independently
· Ability to effectively communicate and influence key stakeholders to support proposed strategies, process improvements and operational decisions
· Ability to handle multiple projects effectively and meet deadlines
· Demonstrated proficiency in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
· Previous experience operating in Waterfall and Agile environments and exposure to both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
· Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to document and communicate technical topics to management and non-technical audiences
· Experience testing and mapping various business processes and protocols
· Experience with Business analysis diagramming techniques
· High tolerance for and adaptability to change
· Expertise in Jira/Confluence/SharePoint
· Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Power Automate and Visio is a plus
· Working knowledge of SQL and other development tools
· Candidates with or working towards IIBA-CBAP or PMI-PBA certification are preferred
· General knowledge of background screening processes is preferred
