RCC/CCC/RSW Independent Contractor Position Availble

About You:
You are committed to your growth as a counsellor, but also as an individual. You see the client approach as holistic and are focused on client care. You enjoy working independently but also being part of a team. Trauma training/EMDR training is an asset.
Associate Requirements:
- A Master’s level university degree in counselling, psychology, social work, or a related discipline.
- Registered Clinical counsellor (RCC) designation from the BC Association of Clinical
- Counsellors, or Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy (CCC), or a Registered Social Worker (RSW).
- Passionate about working with children, youth, adults, families and/or couples. (Couples Training an Asset).
- New graduates accepted – Intentions Counselling & Consulting loves new graduates and is willing to help you to grow your skills and knowledge, as well as your client base.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including a positive, compassionate and non-judgmental attitude.
- High ethical compliance to professional codes of conduct.
- Current liability insurance.
- Current professional registration.
- Current business license.
- Solid intake and case-planning skills.
- Takes a trauma-informed approach (EMDR Training an Asset).
- Participates in ongoing professional development.
- Willing to network with other professionals, desire to build relationships and work collaboratively with other practice members.
- Self-motivated, self-confident and able to work autonomously.
- Culturally competent.
- Ability to Provide In Person Counselling.
- Mandatory availability during the day and evening.
