Your main responsibilities will be doing demos and sampling events at independent retailers around Vancouver. You'll chat about the Oat & Mill brand, sample oat ice cream to potential customers, and get people super excited to try some oat ice cream!

Requirements:

- Based in Vancouver.

- Outgoing, friendly, love chatting, and love oat ice cream!

- Flexible and up for anything - doing demos at retailers, making phone calls and sales meetings, taking in-store content, etc.

- Must have access to reliable transportation to frequent multiple retailers in the Vancouver area. We provide compensation per mile and travel time.

- You have weekend availability. Must be able to transport oat ice cream samples, talk about oat ice cream, eat a lot of oat ice cream, and become one with the oat ice cream.

More about your duties:

-Build relationships with store managers and staff at each location you visit.

-Sample oat ice cream to as many people as possible in your visit.

-Check store shelves for promotional activity, pricing, location on shelf, stock levels, etc.

-Speak with manager about ordering more stock if needed.

-Schedule in-store demos with stores based on busy, high traffic times.

-Work with stores to increase shelf velocity and get more people trying oat ice cream!

-Support with social media content, developing marketing communications, paid advertising, paid social advertising, and web development.

-Other commerce and marketing work as assigned.

Job Types: Fixed term contract, Seasonal, Internship / Co-op
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $17.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 15 per week
