The Shipper and Receiver is responsible for managing the inbound and outbound logistics of products, ensuring accurate inventory control and timely shipment of orders. This role requires strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain efficient warehouse operations.
Job Description
• Directly report to Plant Manager and collaborate with the warehouse team
• Handle shipping and receiving tasks, including verifying shipments, managing documentation, and coordinating logistics
• Oversee the loading and unloading of goods, inspecting items for damage and accuracy
• Directly impact the efficiency of the supply chain by ensuring timely and accurate processing of shipments and inventory management
• Contribute to customer satisfaction by minimizing delays and ensuring the correct products are delivered.
Requirements
Experience
• Previous experience in shipping and receiving, warehouse operations, or logistics is preferred
Education
• High school diploma or equivalent
Technical Knowledge
• Knowledge of shipping procedures, packaging standards, and safety regulations in a warehouse environment
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment if required.
