Stadium Live is taking sports and pop culture to the next level. We’re building a digital playground where Gen Z’s can create fantasy sports teams, test their wits on trivia, play games with our live streamers, and join virtual parties. But that’s just a sneak preview of what’s to come. About the role

We're looking for an outgoing, charismatic person who is ready to take the next step in their career as a Content Creator. You will be responsible for creating and executing various types of content in order to increase our online and in-app presence. As part of the content team, you’ll be collaborating with multimedia, product and game designers, along with the rest of the team to make quick decisions in a highly collaborative environment.

What will I be doing? ‍

Brainstorm and create fun and unique sports and pop culture based content
Develop and curate engaging content for all social media platforms
Work with product team to ensure content is informative and appealing
Think creatively and critically in suggesting new ways to promote and share the app
Working a flexible schedule including primarily evening work covering major sports games
Keep abreast of the latest social media best practices and technologies

What do I need?

Successful candidates will be on the West coast of Canada in order to maximize evening posting times
Experience creating strong and engaging content
A strong knowledge of the NBA and NFL, other sports are a bonus too
Strong sports and/or pop culture knowledge
Produce high quality content with tight deadlines
Great grasp and knowledge of trends on social media
Be open and flexible to the fast paced nature of a startup
Ability to multitask and attention to detail
High level of energy!

Nice to have

You are comfortable navigating the uncertainty, and excited about building something new
Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Premier Pro) or equivalent digital media editing tools
Ability to edit own social media videos and photos
Experience working in sports, gaming, social, music, or fashion tech is a plus but not required

Note: This is a part time position aiming for 20 hours per week of primarily evening work on weekdays and/or weekends. Candidates on the West coast of Canada are preferred.
